The Challenge
Kris and Erika Gruner opened WIN Athletic Club in 2017 in Glenview, Illinois. With more than 20 years of shared passion for all things health and fitness, they opened WIN to be a place for all individuals to explore boxing, HIIT, spin, strength and more. When they came to Telomere, they had a dedicated base of fitness enthusiasts but were struggling to create a steady stream of membership sales. They knew they needed a fresh strategy.
The Strategy
We started by doing a deep dive into WIN’s social media channels, as well as their Key Performance Indicators, to see where we could restructure and improve their sales. WIN had no issue enticing new prospects to try their intro offer, but found a disconnect when it came to converting those clients to members. We tailored a brand new pricing structure that would make the transition from intro offer to membership a more streamlined and natural next step. With personalized social media templates in place, they also saw increased engagement on social media (and took the guesswork out of the posting cadence for the owners).
The Result
With a more organized pricing structure and clearly defined customer journey, as well as social media templates in place, WIN saw an average 23% conversion rate from intro offer sales to autopay. By focusing on building a genuine online presence and removing barriers to membership, WIN not only achieved its immediate goals but also laid the groundwork for sustained growth and community engagement.
