Catalina Zbar, Founder & CEO

  • Catalina Zbar (she/her) is the founder of Telomere Consulting, a consultancy that provides coaching and marketing services to boutique fitness studios around the world. With 10 years of experience in the fitness industry, Catalina combines data-driven business assessment with forward-thinking, innovative marketing to help clients position themselves as leaders in their industries.

    Originally from Argentina, Catalina spent 10 years working in financial services in Switzerland and the U.K. While living in London, Catalina became increasingly involved in the fitness industry, moonlighting as trusted advisor to a number of award-winning boutique fitness studios. Fast forward to today and Telomere Consulting has grown into a diverse team that has helped 100+ studio owners streamline their operations and feel empowered while ultimately boosting memberships, sales and retention.

    In addition to coaching services, Telomere is also a marketing agency with an array of services tailored to its clients' unique offerings. Catalina's experience working with a multitude of studios worldwide and adapting to their unique cultures and values allows her to bring global best practices to her work and help her clients thrive.

    Catalina has been a featured speaker for a variety of fitness companies and leading software companies, including MindBody, Mariana Tek, Fitgrid and Vimeo OTT. She is a Mindbody Certified Consultant and a health & wellness enthusiast, and is currently based in Toronto with her husband and two children.

Catie Moyer-Gardner, Studio Support Associate

  • Catie’s journey in health, wellness, and fitness began 13 years ago as a motivation and accountability coach for weight loss clients. Since then, her passion for mission-driven, fitness-focused companies has taken her through sales and marketing roles spanning cryotherapy, nutrition, functional fitness, and obstacle course training.

    Over the past six years, she’s built expertise in lifecycle and content marketing, blending strategy with creativity to drive customer engagement and community. Known for her adaptability and ingenuity, Catie embraces both emerging trends and proven methods to deliver meaningful, lasting impact.

  • In her spare time, Catie writes fiction and self-published her first novel in May of 2025.

Melissa Williams, COO

  • Melissa has spent more than 20 years in the yoga and wellness industry. She began her career in publishing where she cultivated an eye for creating copy that is captivating and effective. While working as the Editorial Director for a spa publication, she received her yoga teaching certificate. After leaving the publishing world, she decided to follow her passion and opened a yoga studio, which she successfully ran for 11 years before selling in 2022. She now loves to help other studio owners navigate all aspects of the business-side of yoga, from team management to communications and marketing strategy.

    In her free time, you’ll find Melissa creating recipes, gardening, running, practicing yoga, traveling, and hanging out with her family. She lives in Colorado with her husband, two daughters and pup, Lola.

David Kingsbury, Studio Consultant

  • David began his career at one of London’s leading boutique studios, where he honed his expertise in teaching dynamic Reformer Pilates. Alongside developing his skills as both a teacher and personal trainer, he worked closely with physiotherapists, osteopaths, and massage therapists—gaining valuable insight into how these disciplines complement one another from both a performance and business perspective.

    He later launched his own personal training studio, which he successfully ran for four years before expanding into a larger multidisciplinary space offering group classes, personal training, and therapeutic services.

    With over 12 years of experience in the boutique fitness sector, David has been involved in every stage of the start-up journey—from concept and launch to growth and community building. He is passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences and believes that cultivating a strong sense of community is essential to a studio’s long-term success and alignment with its values.

    Outside of work, David is a devoted husband to Sarah and proud father to Clemmie and George. When he’s not in the studio, you’ll often find him cycling or running through the countryside—or spending quality time with his family.

Janice Evert, Studio Consultant

  • Janice discovered her love for wellness and yoga in 2010 when she and her now husband attended a Surf Yoga Retreat in Costa Rica for their honeymoon. That spark only grew stronger as her career advanced in the wellness industry, holding high-level leadership roles with companies such as Lululemon, Manduka, Barre & Soul, Walla Software, and CorePower Yoga.

    Her passion for elevating and supporting the complexities of studio operations flourished during her time as Director of Studio Operations at Barre & Soul. There, she led pivotal initiatives including a full software migration, a strategic price increase, meaningful staff investments, and ultimately a turnaround in the company’s profitability.

    Janice later expanded her expertise in the boutique fitness software space, where she developed a strong reputation for helping studios optimize their backend reporting systems and CRM tools. She also brings firsthand entrepreneurial experience from owning and operating FIT4MOM Boulder, where she deepened her understanding of community-building, local marketing, and client retention through the lens of a studio owner.

    A dedicated practitioner with her 500-hour RYT certification, Janice continues to teach at CorePower Yoga in her hometown of Boulder, Colorado. When she’s not teaching or consulting, you’ll find her in the kitchen, on the mountain snowboarding with her boys, hiking one of Boulder’s many trails, or soaking up the vibrant energy of the local farmers’ market.

Ali Goracy, Marketing Coordinator

  • Ali has spent the last several years tailoring her professional career to reflect her passion for the health and wellness industry. As a fitness instructor herself, she has a thorough understanding of marketing needs within the wellness space.

    She is passionate about empowering clients through email marketing, content strategy, and in-depth analytics that provide a deeper look into marketing campaigns. Her favorite action item is creating compelling copy that helps studios be seen AND heard.

    Ali lives in Charleston, S.C. and is an instructor at Jibe South, a rhythmic cycle and HIIT studio. When she’s out of the office or off the spin bike, she enjoys reading, spending time at the beach, and line dancing.

Emily Lail, Studio Consultant

  • Emily’s passion for fitness shines through in everything she does. Her journey in this industry began 15 years ago with the high-energy of Zumba, where she discovered her love for movement and inspiring others. From there, she expanded her expertise, diving into the dynamic intensity of circuit training and HIIT, the mindful strength of barre, and a wide range of modalities.

    Over the years, Emily has collaborated with studios in a variety of settings—supporting everything from class programming to community engagement. With a strong foundation in email and social media marketing, she brings a creative and connected approach to the fitness space.

Kathryn McMonagle, Executive Assistant

  • Kathryn’s professional path has been shaped by years of experience supporting leaders and growing mission-driven organizations. Along the way, her yoga practice has refined and clarified how she shows up at work—bringing presence, alignment, and steadiness to fast-paced environments.

    She offers 15+ years of experience partnering with wellness, cultural, and impact-focused organizations. Her background spans executive support, operations, and marketing, allowing her to anticipate needs, streamline processes, and keep priorities aligned with larger goals.

    Grounded in a lifelong commitment to wellness and guided by the principles of her practice, Kathryn brings a grounded presence that helps leaders stay focused, effective, and supported as they pursue meaningful work.

  • Kathryn has a love of travel and has spent extended periods living abroad in India, Costa Rica, Italy, and Peru.

Charisse Lea Petri, Admin

  • Charisse is passionate about providing support in day-to-day tasks to allow the team to focus more on the growth of Telomere. She is a classic Virgo: detail-oriented and loves to keep everything organized. Her openness to learning is rooted in her belief that everyone is capable of developing their skills with dedication and a right mindset.

Amy Feeney, Studio Consultant

  • Amy has spent more than 14 years in the fitness industry, owning and operating boutique barre studios in Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs. She later expanded her experience by owning a Physique 57 franchise in Philadelphia, where she managed all aspects of the business—from operations and marketing, to team development and client experience.

    A lifelong sport and fitness enthusiast, Amy has taught Pilates, Barre, Cycling, and Sculpt classes, bringing energy and expertise to every discipline. She’s passionate about health, wellness, and collaboration, and loves helping others thrive within the fitness community.

  • In her free time, you’ll find Amy staying active playing golf and tennis, and spending time outdoors with her husband and three children.

Jessi Turner, Studio Marketing

  • Jessi Turner is a brand strategist and designer who blends creative intuition with business-minded strategy to build thoughtful, high-impact brands. With an MBA in Marketing, a background in digital media design, and certifications in brand strategy and consumer neuroscience, she brings a unique mix of creativity, research, and practical insight. Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and email marketing, and web design, Jessi crafts cohesive brand identities rooted in both strategy and storytelling.

  • Before diving into brand strategy, Jessi worked in post-production editing for Marvel Entertainment—earning credits in about 35 graphic novels, from X-Men to Spider-Man to Star Wars.
