The Challenge

MBS Pilates is a small, boutique-style Pilates studio with exceptional instruction and experienced trainers, located in Downers Grove, Illinois. When Heather Rex, owner of MBS Pilates, came to Telomere, she was tired from teaching 36+ hours every week AND running the business. She was searching for a team to help alleviate some of her burden when it came to marketing and business operations. She was planning to move into a larger studio space, and needed to get her email and social media marketing in place before doing so.

 

The Strategy

When starting with MBS Pilates, we first combed through their Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to see where exactly the opportunities lied. Heather knew that she had a solid intro offer, but was not seeing the retention from those new clients like she was expecting. We started by refining the intro offer itself as well as the upsell process for memberships. We then helped her build new automated email and SMS campaigns that would nurture and upsell these new clients throughout their customer journey. Then, we created social media templates to engage with new clients and inform her community about upcoming teacher trainings, retreats and promotions.

 

The Result

In just four short months, we saw MBS Pilates’s memberships increase by 35%, and they saw a 157% increase in overall revenue year over year. Heather feels a bit more at ease now that we’ve helped her to streamline her communication with her community. MBS Pilates is making huge strides in a short time, and we cannot wait to see all of the growth they experience in the future.
