Studio Consulting and Strategy for a New Boutique Wellness Space

The Challenge

As a new studio owner, Amanda was overwhelmed with how to make her vision a reality. She wanted a space that was welcoming and offered an array of wellness services to her Baltimore-area community. Filled with ideas, she struggled with how to bring them to fruition.

 

The Strategy

We started with a thorough analysis of her KPIs to understand the gaps and see the opportunities. This led us to create an entirely new pricing structure focused on new client acquisition as well as membership retention. She was finding clients were using their passes in-frequently, which was creating very inconsistent attendance. In addition, her old pricing model was leading clients to be very non-committal to their overall well-being. After implementing the new pricing structure, we set to work on adding new instructors, refining the hiring process, expanding the schedule and implementing new marketing strategies to attract and nurture her clients.

 

The Result

Within just two months, we saw her intro offers more than triple, and the conversions from the intro to membership are increasing at an equal rate. In addition, she was able to expand her schedule attracting a broader audience as well as a more diverse and experienced teaching staff. Amanda now has her eyes on creating and launching her first teacher training!
