Marketing and Strategy for Filling a Yoga Teacher Training

Our multi-channel marketing strategy drove and converted leads to Razz Yoga’s teacher training, resulting in a sold-out training with 12 students.

Heather Rasmussen, Owner

I knew my upcoming teacher training program was unique and embodied my yoga studio’s core values, but I struggled with putting all of my ideas into a format that would sell. When I hired Telomere Consulting, they paired me with Melissa for my copywriting needs and she was a perfect fit!

Melissa took the time to genuinely listen and learn about my studio, overall brand, and upcoming teacher training program. The blogs, emails, social captions and ads were engaging and persuasive, striking the right balance between storytelling and selling using my voice which resulted in attracting the right people for my program. We exceeded our targeted enrollment thanks to Melissa and the Telomere team.

The Challenge

Offering their first Razz-branded teacher training, Heather, the owner of Razz wanted a multi-faceted marketing approach to fill her seats. She had run a training previously and felt that the marketing efforts didn’t bring in the number of students she was looking for. She was looking for a fresh omni-channel approach for her training program.

The Strategy

We created a multi-channel approach to promote the Razz teacher training, which included scheduled emails, blog articles, social media posts and social media ads. The design across all channels was cohesive and on-brand so that potential trainees would see similar messaging. A big part of our approach was establishing “Why Razz?” and differentiating the Razz training from others available in the area. We find a lot of studios struggling with their unique mission, and by honing in this message we were able to really create an on-brand message that was enticing and compelling, not to mention motivating for clients to register.

The Result

By utilizing multiple mediums and having each of the mediums cross-reference with one another, we drove additional leads and traffic to the teacher training, resulting in a sold-out training with 12 students. In addition, Heather found that because of the messaging the clients had a true appreciation for the program and specifically chose the Razz program because of its unique offerings.
