Hot yoga studio fills retreat and exceeds yearly revenue goals with the help of a new marketing and social media strategy
The Challenge
Established in 2014, Hot Spot Yoga Oakland is an ashtanga-inspired yoga studio with two locations. They pride themselves on creating a welcoming environment with a healthy dose of heart, humor and soul. When the owner, Adesina, came to Telomere, she needed an organized, detailed marketing strategy for communicating with her members and prospects. She was also looking to liven up her social media to drive traffic from new clients and promote an upcoming teacher training and retreat.
The Strategy
We started by crafting a personalized email and SMS marketing strategy to smoothly guide leads towards upsell opportunities, fostering a steady increase in memberships. We also created monthly newsletters to help Adesina engage with her community, attracted clients with special promotions and helped them fill their teacher training spots. With an upcoming retreat on the schedule, we strategized with her on the pricing model and helped her fill the spots. We also created customized social media templates and a detailed posting schedule, which helped take the guesswork out of when and what to post.
The Result

We helped Hot Spot exceed their 2023 total revenue goal by 35%, and fill the destination retreat and yoga teacher training spots.
