Yoga Studio Overcame Challenges with Traveling Demographic through the Use of Automations and an Updated Pricing Model

The Challenge

Charissa, owner of Coachella Yoga, a beautiful yoga studio in Palm Springs, spends half her time between California and Hawaii—meaning she is not there half of the time! She is also the owner of a few other businesses and is extremely busy. She reached out to us to help get her operations in check and her numbers trending upwards.

Charissa was looking to build a strong, inclusive community, while dealing with a traveling demographic, a personal lack of ability to be present in the studio and cultural issues that stemmed from a previous owner. Despite these hurdles, she remained positive and enthusiastic about creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for all.

 

The Strategy

We first pulled her KPIs to understand trends, client behaviors and opportunities for improvement. We tackled the low-hanging fruit, and cleaned up her Mindbody account—setting it up for success. We then carefully crafted an updated pricing model, optimized to convert snowbirds and prioritize memberships. We then moved to building out her e-mail automations in the Mindbody marketing suite, allowing the new studio manager to focus on customer-facing touchpoints. 

 

The Result

Coachella Yoga went from having 68 active members in the month before they began working with Telomere, to 105 after being with us for six months—a 55% increase. 

Since we introduced their new intro offer, Coachella Yoga has seen an average increase of 60% in sales. This significant increase can also be seen in their first visits, which have quadrupled since they began working with Telomere.
