Vibe: Bright, precise, community-forward
Standout Feature: A new Lagree for Golf program in development, creating a unique, sport-specific application of the method focused on the rotational strength, stability, and mobility demands of the golf swing.
About QC Lagree
Christina Langrall became a Lagree student in 2014 and experienced a shift in her body and her mindset that eventually made her leave a 20 year career in commercial real estate to pursue her own studio. Then, in Febuary of 2026, QC Lagree opened as a neighborhood fitness studio in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Located in the hyper-local and historical Myer’s Park neighborhood, QC Lagree sits on Selwyn Avenue inside a charming plaza with white buildings and ample parking catering to foot traffic that supports a community-anchored business.
What They Do Best
QC Lagree runs 40-minute group classes on the Mega Pro (named Mega Pro 40) featuring continuous sequencing and transitions designed to keep time under tension from dropping between moves. The method draws from five components of physical fitness: strength, endurance, cardiovascular conditioning, body composition, and flexibility. What that looks like in practice is slow work using variable spring tension to load the muscles without stressing connective tissue. With over 1,000 distinct Lagree moves in the programming library, classes aren’t repetitive even with only one class on the menu.
As they grow, QC Lagree is actively building out a wellness programming layer: Lagree for Golf, women's strength, and stretch and mobility sessions are all in development.
The Experience
The plaza where QC Lagree lives is easy to find, parking is free, and signage is clear. Inside, the lobby is lined with windows, and the natural light makes the space feel open. Merchandise and grip socks are available at the front, check-in is smooth, and new clients are walked through a full facility tour before class.
If you’re unfamiliar with the Mega Pro, every component of the machine gets named and explained before class. The 40 minutes are demanding: slow, grinding sets that accumulate fatigue in the targeted muscle groups before transitioning with minimal rest. Cues are specific and corrections come in both individual and group form, with modifications offered. The music is upbeat and energizing, instructor-selected, and ranges from hip hop to EDM depending on the day. About ten minutes in, the experience takes over: the vibe, the instruction quality, and the physical challenge converge in a cohesive, engaging experience. The atmosphere is inclusive across fitness levels, and the post-class feeling of spent and accomplished is what brings people back.
What Makes Them Special
Mega Pro Machine: One of the first studios in the country operating the Mega Pro, the newest Megaformer model (as of 2026) with a larger surface area in a more efficient footprint.
Founder-Led Instruction: Christina Langrall teaches classes herself as a Certified Level 1 Lagree trainer, alongside a senior trainer with 20 years of personal training experience and a decade of Lagree-specific teaching.
Programming Depth in Progress: Specialty formats including Lagree for Golf, women's strength, and mobility sessions are in active development, expanding the studio beyond a single-format model.
Personal Training Buildout: A dedicated one-on-one training space is being converted inside the studio, positioning QC Lagree to offer private sessions as a complement to group classes.
Why We Love It
Christina Langrall opened QC Lagree because she'd spent a decade as a student of the method and understood, firsthand, what it can do to change bodies and minds. With her experience in real estate, she chose a very specific location and was intentional about her equipment and instruction. In a market where Charlotte now has multiple Lagree options, QC Lagree's edge is a studio that's building toward something bigger than 40-minute classes with unique and specific offerings for niche clientele, while still maintaining a solid Lagree practice that sets the standard for the modality.
