Social Media Ads Specialist

The purpose of this role is to have a unified approach and point person for all things social media advertising. 


You will be responsible for managing and creating ads on Meta business suites well as on Google  for Telomere and Telomere’s clients: a wide array of boutique fitness and yoga studios. You will also help create social media assets and graphics for Telomere and Telomere’s clients. Your focus will be to own the day-to-day management of advertising campaigns and be able to provide the assets necessary for the campaigns as well as for other social media purposes. We’re looking for someone that’s excited about the prospect of joining a fast-paced, exciting, growing agency and that can take a 360 degree approach to digital marketing from creative strategy to assets to landing pages and ad optimization. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in landing page optimization and conversion optimization, and have an in-depth understanding of multi-channel digital strategies. We are looking for someone who understands our clients’ target audience (fitness consumers) and can create innovative campaigns to attract new clients to these businesses. In addition, we  are looking for someone who feels confident in delivering concise analytics and updates to our clients and can assist clients in creating the ideal advertising strategies.

 

Key responsibilities in this role:

  • As our in-house Ads Strategist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Meta and Google campaigns we manage. You’re able to quickly assess an account, develop a strategy to improve results for the key metrics, and most importantly implement and improve on that strategy over time through testing

  • Generating leads and sales using Meta  and Google

  • Play a lead role in developing campaign strategy and managing initiatives

  • Track and report on campaign results, data analysis, contribute to weekly/monthly client status calls with regular reporting on results

  • Close collaboration with our internal team to assess and improve advertising performance

  • Constant learning to improve your understanding of the paid marketing landscape

  • Collaborate with marketing teammates to maintain a consistent brand voice and message across all paid programs

  • Craft lead generation forms for our content to distribute through relevant paid programs.

  • Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and potential new channels and strategies to keep us ahead, including updates to social media marketing, attribution, and programmatic media buying

  • Testing variations of ads to determine the best performing

  • Continuous monitoring of results and improvement of ads

  • Manage the strategy and setup of all paid campaigns

  • Measure and optimize our paid marketing using vendor-specific dashboards, Google Analytics, and marketing analytics reports

  • Deliver concise presentations and updates to our clients on a bi-weekly and/or monthly basis, utilizing key metrics

  • Create social media graphics and assets for ad campaigns as well as other social media needs

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience

  • Knowledge of the various paid marketing channels and technologies, including paid search (Google AdWords), retargeting, social network advertising (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and more), and content distribution

  • Experience handling marketing budgets and forecasting/reporting results

  • Excellent written communication skills

  • Graphic design skills (Canva)

  • Detailed-oriented and organized

  • Enjoys learning new things

  • You know exactly what to do to improve results in an account

  • You’re passionate about your area of expertise, at the top of your game while continually improving your knowledge by diving deep into industry blogs and more importantly via experience

  • Knowing that CRO is just as important as your campaigns, you are well-versed in post-click conversion and what it takes to convert traffic at a high rate

  • Always willing to speak up, collaborate and advocate for your ideas

  • You’re a conceptual thinker, someone able to create a range of ideas and strategies for campaigns along with having total confidence in your execution and communication with clients

This role is for 20 hours per week with the opportunity to become full-time. Salary is dependent on experience. Salary band is $2500-$3000/month with access to Telomere benefits at 35 hours/week.
