Telomere partnered with Sodium Fit to replace an inconsistent client journey with a clear, automated path from first visit to membership, driving stronger retention and predictable conversion without adding complexity. The changes led to incredible, systemic growth, including increases like:

  • 72% first-visit retention (vs. a 50% goal) after retiring the free first class and simplifying membership.

  • 55%+ of intro offers converted to class packs or memberships.

  • 22% of new clients converted into full memberships, with intro offer sales climbing steadily month over month

By the end of 2025, Sodium Fit had built something special: an energetic community, strong programming, and classes their clients loved coming back to. But like many boutique fitness studios, growth didn't always feel as sustainable behind the scenes as it looked from the outside.

Even though new clients were constantly coming through the doors, there wasn't always a clear path for turning those first visits into long-term memberships. The free first class was creating interest, but not commitment. Follow-up lived in too many places, conversion was inconsistent, and the team was spending valuable time chasing down processes that should be supporting them.

The question became: how do we create a client experience that feels effortless for clients and creating more predictability for the business? That's where Telomere came in, partnering with Sodium Fit to rebuild the client journey from the ground up.

Creating a Stronger Impression on the First Visit

The first major shift came in late 2025 when Telomere worked with Sodium Fit to retire the free first class and simplify its membership structure. Almost immediately, the quality of new leads began to change.

Instead of attracting casual drop-ins, the studio welcomed clients who were invested from day one and ready to become part of the community. By January 2026, first-visit retention climbed to 72%, far surpassing the original goal of 50%.

Intro offers quickly became a key part of the client journey, averaging 50 sales each month and converting over half of those to class pack or membership options.

At the same time, Telomere's schedule review and optimization strategies helped classes perform more consistently across the board. BOX classes averaged 61% utilization, while newer hybrid offerings like RIDE X SCULPT reached 78%, reinforcing that the studio was offering exactly what its community was looking for now at the right times.

Supporting Studio Growth Behind the Scenes

The biggest changes weren't always the most visible ones.

Telomere invested heavily in creating systems that supported both the Sodium Fit team and the client experience. First-visit protocols became more intentional. Front desk conversations became more meaningful. Automations stepped in to handle repetitive communication and tasks so staff could focus on connection rather than administration.

Community-driven initiatives like the BINGO Challenge, which drew 91 participants, and Bring a Friend Week created excitement, encouraged consistency, and introduced new faces to the studio in a way that felt natural and fun.

Meanwhile, behind the scenes, automated touchpoints helped identify highly engaged clients who simply needed the right invitation at the right time. The result was a client journey that felt personal, welcoming, and consistent from first class to membership.

Turning Connection Into Membership Conversion

As the systems Telomere built with Sodium Fit strengthened, so did conversion.

Intro offer sales increased steadily month over month, creating a reliable pipeline of future members. Ultimately, 22% of new clients converted into memberships, proving that sustainable studio growth didn't require more promotions or more complexity but clarity in their offers, communication, and client next steps.

Most importantly, Sodium Fit built a system that allowed the business to grow without losing the community feel that made people fall in love with the studio in the first place.

By combining thoughtful automation with genuine human connection, Telomere helped Sodium Fit create a foundation for sustainable growth that feels both sustainable and deeply aligned with who they are.
