About You
We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated, and savvy PR/Events Manager to join Telomere and drive our company's outreach initiatives. This team member will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive events that elevate our brand, engage our target audience, and support our business growth. The ideal candidate must have several years of PR and events management experience
Position Overview
This individual will be primarily working with the CEO and COO as well as other team members. The PR/Events Manager will be responsible for orchestrating Telomere's public-facing initiatives, including events, studio partnerships, and lead generation programs. We are looking for someone who is thorough, detail-oriented, and can help us create memorable experiences that strengthen our brand presence and client relationships. This position must be committed to completing a wide variety of tasks independently with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through. As the PR/Events Manager, you will need to be organized, personable, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a strategic view of our marketing and partnership goals.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Events Management
Oversee and manage the Studio Guide project, ensuring studio visits are regularly getting added to the guide, city groupings are created and that the project is nearing 150 studios by EOY 1. This project will also include creating PR materials when the awards for The Studio Guide are released and other marketing collateral.
Oversee and support Telomere on Tour events, including planning, execution, and post-event follow-up
Support studio visits by creating lists of target studios, arranging visits and booking classes
Create detailed itineraries for tour activities and studio visits
Coordinate with Instagram team for content capture and posting after studio visits
Manage the Software Spotlight event series, from coordination with speakers through execution
Plan and execute lead-generating events, including masterclasses and workshops
Provide comprehensive conference support, including booth management, materials preparation, and attendee engagement
Canvas and support target markets to identify partnership and event opportunities
Public Relations & Partnerships
Maintain and grow the Telomere affiliate program, including partner communications and performance tracking
Build and nurture relationships with studio owners, wellness influencers, and industry partners
Coordinate studio partnerships and collaborations
Manage PR opportunities and media outreach as they arise
Create a new PR page for the website and manage inbound inquiries
Establish a gifting program for new studios utilizing partners
Marketing Support
Develop event-related marketing materials, including graphics, copy, and promotional content
Create and execute email marketing campaigns for events and partnerships
Manage social media engagement related to events, studio visits, and partnerships
Collaborate with the team on content calendars for event promotion
Track and report on event performance metrics and partnership ROI
Operations & Administrative
Report to and partner with the CEO and COO to accomplish day-to-day business deliverables
Complete administrative tasks related to events and partnerships
Organize and maintain event files, partnership agreements, and vendor contracts
Provide efficient support with calendar scheduling and management for events
Manage event expenses
Coordinate logistics for events, including venue selection, catering, materials, and technology needs
Job Qualifications:
2+ years' experience in event management, public relations, or partnership development
Experience in the wellness, fitness, or hospitality industry strongly preferred
Getting stuff done skills: critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork, collaboration, leadership, and professionalism with a sense of humor
Highly proficient in Google suite of services
Experience with event management software and CRM platforms preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be flexible, resourceful, and demonstrate excellent time management skills
Proven ability to manage event budgets and vendor relationships
Willingness to travel for events, studio visits, and conferences as needed
Strong social media skills and understanding of content creation for events

Comfortable representing the company at events and in public-facing situations
Proficiency in software platforms such as Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, and event management tools

Familiarity with studio management software (MindBody, Mariana Tek)
Previous experience coordinating events or securing speaking engagements
Established media or PR contacts
Salary: Starts at $55,000
