How Telomere Helped Launch Rochester’s First Lagree Fitness Studio
01
The Challenge: Launching a First Lagree Studio from the Ground Up
Amplify came to Telomere as a true ground-up launch. Sarah was a first-time studio owner bringing Lagree fitness to Rochester, Minnesota. With no previous operations to build from, she needed an experienced partner to help her bring the vision to life across strategy, systems, pricing, and execution.
Sarah needed to build an entire client journey from scratch, establish foundational operations, and create offers and pricing structures that would support strong recurring revenue from day one. She also needed to move quickly as the Rochester market represented a genuine first-mover opportunity, and capturing it required a launch that was both precise and scalable.
The Strategy: Pre-Launch Planning, Pricing and Operations for a New Pilates Studio
The first priority was pricing and offer architecture. Together we built a founding member structure designed to front-load cash flow and establish a committed recurring revenue base before opening day. Founding membership tiers were set, with intro offer pricing designed to move first-time visitors into memberships at the highest possible conversion rate.
Simultaneously, we built Amplify's backend operations in Walla — setting up automations, client journey sequences, and reporting infrastructure so Sarah had full visibility into her KPIs from week one. This included a phased launch calendar with clear milestones, a referral program designed to leverage early member enthusiasm, and a full marketing and content plan covering organic social, email, and community engagement.
We also coached Sarah through staffing decisions, new instructor onboarding, and class schedule optimization, monitoring utilization data closely to ensure the timetable matched actual demand rather than assumptions about it. Every decision was tied back to the metrics that matter most for a new studio: visits, conversions, AutoPay growth, and retention.

The Results: 192 First-Time Visitors, 59% Revenue Growth, and a Full AutoPay Pipeline in Month One
Amplify launched with immediate traction. In the first month, the studio welcomed 192 first-time visitors, a strong signal that the pre-launch marketing had reached the right audience. From there the momentum accelerated quickly. Visits doubled from 583 to 1,116 within six months, revenue grew 59%, and Sarah saw a significant surge in active memberships and AutoPay conversions in a single month.
The backend infrastructure built during pre-launch meant none of that growth was chaotic. Automations were live, the client journey was mapped, and Sarah had a full quarterly roadmap in place to guide decisions on schedule, pricing, and retention as the studio moved out of its launch phase.
Amplify proved that first-mover advantage in an underserved market, combined with the right pre-launch infrastructure, can compress the typical studio growth timeline significantly. Rochester's first Lagree studio opened with a foundation built to last.
One Year Later: Turning Launch Momentum Into a Long-Term Growth Partnership
Looking back, Sarah points to sales as the area of most meaningful progress this past year. Studionomics gave her more than day-to-day tactics: it gave her a wider view of the boutique fitness landscape, helping her make informed, strategic decisions to stay competitive rather than reacting one move at a time.
Alongside the strategic partnership, Sarah pointed out that what's been most valuable this year is Telomere’s support and custom deliverables — the ability to pivot, ask questions, and hash out ideas in real time, rather than waiting on a fixed cadence. It's a level of responsiveness she's built her own decision-making around.
Amplify's attention now turns to expansion. It's a sign of how far the studio, and its owner's confidence, have come since opening day.
